Hi I have the same error with my F5SL with core 2 duo, radeon HD 3400, 3GB ram, 256 GB IDE HDD, Win 7 HP I already: • expanded the system reserved partition to 450MB using minitool Partition wizzard. • checked that there are no hardware issues and incompatibilities, pending updates, updated my ATI drivers to the newest ones • checked if my hardware is supported by Win 10 When I install usual update with the reserve tool, I get to unpack and install files, but it gets reverted after reboot. When I try update with Create Install Disk utility, I get that system thread exception not handled blue screen. In both cases it boots back to windows 7 and deletes the update files. I have impression that the update needs some boot setting to have the legacy boot enabled (bios not uefi). Would it be the case?

I my opinion it might be some BIOS flag, that win 10 requires and win 7 doesn't.
There is no option to configure such flags in ASUS F5SL bios vesion 308 (like enabling UEFI Boot mentioned ) so Win10 shouldn't require it to run as win7 does. I did menage to kind of 'run' Win10 on F5SL but for test purpose only via Oracle Virtual Box: Windows 7 PRO 64 bit, works fine, so where is the compatibility to Windows 10?
