I'm continually getting Driver_State_Power_Failure crashes (BSOD) every couple days. Here are my PC specs: Windows 8. After purchasing the laptop back in late June of 2015, I didn't experience any problems. Recently, I installed a new video game that met my computer's standards, but when I ran it, it basically said that my graphic card driver wasn't up to date.
So I updated my drivers, and again it didn't work. I read that a laptop, to save energy, uses the poorer graphics card, which would be my Intel card. I switched it to use my Nvida card, and ever since I changed it, I've been experiencing the Driver_State_Power_Failure crash. I've tried updating my drivers and switching back to my Intel card, but neither seems to work. I looked around for a solution, but most of the answers I found were rather confusing because I wasn't sure if it was the same problem I am having.
