It is also important to mention (because we sell video games on ebay) that we do not sell titles as NEW once they are opened and installed for testing. Most test games find a home with one of our testors (employees) and in rare circumstances, we will sell clearly marked as opened and used. Operation Flashpoint - Game of the Year (Pc Game) I decided to buy it for the realism and the freedom you have to any weapon or drive any vehicle you want to drive (especially, helicopters). I love blowing up things. It has an incredible replay value; especially, the hundreds of mods and add-ons you can download to enhance gaming.

The only gripe I have is that the resistance campaign is incredibly difficult to complete. In fact, I have yet to finish it. Also, the graphics are a little outdated (visual enhancing is downloadable). I would highly recommend it to gamers that like guns and blowing up things as well as hard-core tactical shooter fans. Also, if you have a pc that can run amazing graphics and huge environments, I would recommend Operation Flashpoint's, next in the series, Armed Assault.

Worth the outdated graphics Sure, this game doesn't have the realism that most games released today do, but it by far makes up for it in the amount of freedom you have in the game. Most combat games ultimately give you one path to follow through your entire game, however I can create my own scenario on one of the custom maps and get behind the wheel of jeeps, humvees, tanks, cars, or fly apaches, chinooks, blakhawks, even pilot an A-10. And with the add-on's I can ride a motorcycle around, or fly an F-16, or C-130 or even call in a Coast Guard helicopter to come pick me up. All of this on one island, in one game. Awesome game, one of my all time favorites. Operation Flashpoint It does not like my virus protection, it wont start with it on.

I have to unplug from the internet. Start the game then start my trend micro. Sometimes the trend micro will case it to crash when it updates mission locations. It tries to contact internet. It writes a registry file on my computer that is blocked by my virus protection. I remember the old days of playing this game on win 98 with norton.

No problems at all. As for the game, on campaign setting it is one of the hardest games I have ever played. I still love it.
